About
The Múlinn Jazz Club Quintet celebrates the International Jazz
Day together with musicians who give concerts all over the world. UNESCO
designated this particular day, April 30th, as the official Jazz Day
in 2011. The motto of the day is that jazz music, in its many and varied forms,
can be a symbol of unity for people of different origins and from all over the
world as listeners and/or active participants. At the concert, the Quintet will
play a variety of material from the bands' repertoire. Music arranged for two
saxophones and a rhythm section where the swinging flow is the order of the
day.
